Haus am See

Ozkar was a very friendly and helpful host! The view was beautiful, and I got to enjoy a really nice 6km jog around the lake! The facilities were pretty clean, but the trash from the last people was still in the bathroom. I'm so grateful Ozkar was able to get our laundry done for €15. He gave lots of recommendations for the area which was helpful.

The laundry detergent had a very strong fragrance. The smell was pleasant, but we sneezed when it came near our faces. We had to wash the clothes again later to get the smell out because it irritated our throats whenever we wore something that had been washed with the detergent. I thought maybe I was getting sick, but it was only a problem when the clothes were nearby. I wish I had thought to ask if there was a fragrance free option. The pictures helped a lot with the self-check-in process but we still had some trouble finding our entrance. A friendly neighbor helped to point us in the right direction. The taxi from Fussen was a little over €20. We usually took the 71 bus instead, and that worked pretty well.

Amazing location direct in front of a lake and mountains, true to the image of Fussen. The apartment was very clean and neatly done.

Parking was a bit tight and it took me a while to find the apartment. A better signage on the street can solve this though.

This apartment is super clean, comfortable and everything is in perfect order. The balcony is super nice to sit outside. Bathroom/shower is very spacious . There’s a walking path to the lake across the road from the property plus a very good restaurant/guesthouse with excellent food on the lake walking distance. The location is super nice and easy to get anywhere by car. There is also a bus stop easy to get to as well but we didn’t need bus transportation. You also get a parking space! Those are hard to get in many places/areas. No complaints at all. The host is awesome and explains everything well.

Good apartment in a beautiful location.

Some lady from the same apartments complex complained about the place we’ve parked, but we’ve parked as per instructions. It was not a big issue, but my suggestion is to improve the parking instructions in order to avoid such conflict.

We just loved our stay at Haus am See. The owner, Oscar, is the perfect host, always ready to help. He even went out of his way and provided us with taxi service when needed. We recommend this super clean appartment, just five minutes walking distance from the lovely lake enjoying a breathtaking mountain scene.

Nothing to complain about, honestly.
