Apartment right in the center of Brno

Great apartment right in the centre of the city. Everything you need is available. I can recommend this apartment.

A bit loud from the restaurant in the courtyard but it didn't disturb that much.

Hezký, čistý apartmán přímo v centru města. I přes polohu v centru bylo v apartmánu ticho a klid. Vybavení dostačující, televize s připojením na internet, výborný WiFi signál. Škoda, že není klimatizace.

V budově je poruchový výtah. První den pobytu večer jsem uvízla ve výtahu, pohotovostní technik, který přijel výtah otevřít, říkal, že ten den je to již třetí výjezd k tomuto výtahu. Následující den ráno výtah fungoval, odpoledne byl však již opět mimo provoz, tak zůstal i poslední den. Shodou okolností jsem v této budově byla ubytovaná i před třemi týdny (jiný apartmán, jiný majitel). Dva dny ze tří byl výtah mimo provoz. Tehdy jsem to považovala za výjimečnou situaci, zdá se ale, že je to spíš běžné. Pokud to není vyloženě nutné, doporučuji chodit po schodech.

I booked this property for a week for a work trip. Throughout the night I was hearing a regular mechanical collision noise, about every 2 minutes. They sounded like lift doors closing. This stopped me from getting any sleep. I realised the noise continued in the daytime. I contacted the owner but she didn’t want to take action the same day. After some persuasion and a lot of explanations, the owner eventually agreed to come over to check the noise. However, I soon realised that she was only coming to have the copy of my ID, since she only stayed for 5 minutes and she kept denying hearing the noise. Since it was a work trip, I asked the owner whether she could cancel the rest of my booking. I explained to her that because of the booking conditions, I will lose all the payments if I cancel the booking myself. But she refused. She asked me to cancel the booking myself. I then contacted the Customer Support and explained the situation. Only through the Customer Support, the owner agreed to cancel the rest of the booking, and I had the rest of payment refunded.

Located in the centre, great location, 10-15 minutes walking distance to main tram/ bus station. Comfortable, clean, friendly owner although didn’t meet in person only via phone.
