Central location, big apartment fits a family quite well. The view from the balcony is amazing!

No parking uphill, not even possible to drive up to unload the luggage, so dragging all the luggage uphill is quite a challenge if you have a number of bags. The floor is VERY squeaky, very loud. Some towels were not clean, with a bunch of hair in them. The bedding didn't seem super fresh either. You have to water the plants in the apartment every day (🤷🏻) and men are not allowed to use the toilet while standing... You are not allowed to walk in your own shoes and have to wear the slippers the host provides that seem to have never been washed or cleaned.

Location and character of the property

The host made it clear that the balcony of the property was off limits in the evening. This was a point made on the second night (where he seemed to have waited in the doorway for us to return to give us the news), stating this was a ‘house rule’ - which seemed to possibly related to noise. This was new news to us (5 Middle Aged men - not what we would consider party folk, who had played no music etc). This restriction was not in the details and we would have not booked if it was. Given the temperature was over 30 degrees the restriction of the balcony and undisclosed nature off this with the property made our stay less enjoyable and not something I would recommend to others. Additionally whilst the booking was for 5, the sheets etc were only provided initially for 4, which was rectified quickly.

Location to train station is near by , what a great view from the town and the mountains host is very friendly and please you in every you need

House owner is so nice. The room, kitchen, bathroom... everthing is great. We had wonderful time here :)

The apartment was beautiful; spacious and homely. We loved the traditional feel of the place, and the way it was furnished throughout. All the facilities we needed were there - extra bedding, hairdryer, sockets by the beds, wardrobes, dining room, full kitchen, etc. Couldn't fault the place! The location was great - a very short walk to Berchtesgaden Hbf with easy train & bus links. Simon was a fantastic and attentive host, something we found refreshingly unique compared to other places we've stayed before. He was on hand to answer any queries and to offer tips for the duration of our stay, as well as any advice on travelling onto the next part of our trip. Thanks again, Simon - we can't wait to return!
