Sam's Cottage Suite

It has a jacuzzi and sauna.

First Impressions: There was no initial contact from the owner. I had to reach out myself to find out how to access the property, and received a generic copy-paste message with no personalization. Upon arrival, the driveway was overgrown with weeds, giving the impression that the property was not well maintained. Inside, I was greeted by two wasps and noticed spider webs throughout the ceiling area. Bathroom: The jacuzzi's buttons were non-functional, and the massage feature did not work. The faucet was half detached and barely hanging on. I also found a dirty cotton swab behind an information sheet. The toilet door could not be locked because no latch hole was drilled in the frame. Kitchen: The undertrays were stained, the oven plate had baked-on food residue, and the water kettle was full of limescale. There was no cooking hood either. Bedrooms: The rooms had no windows. One mattress was placed directly on the floor and had visible stains. The ladder to the upper sleeping area was uncomfortable and even painful to use. Additionally, the nearby church rings its bells loudly at 6 a.m. and 6 p.m., lasting several minutes and clearly audible from inside. General Comfort: Heating and ventilation were inadequate throughout the accommodation. Sofa could only seat 2 people comfortably. Decorative LED strips broken and flickering. Host Interaction: Communication was poor. Messages were impersonal and at times impolite. A course in customer service would be beneficial. Conclusion: Disappointing overall. I would choose a different place to stay next time. I would also recommend the host to stay a couple of nights in the accommodation to get a feel for what is going poorly.

Nice location, big place.

Jacuzzi was ok, but does not sit/fit good. Host did not respond to a question we had about locking the door. Kitchen equipment needs a refresh as it has a lot of equipment but not of the best quality (blunt knives, super-limey kettle, etc)

Fully equipped kitchen, bathroom, ... Everything was nice and clean... The sauna and jacuzzi were wonderful.
