Schöna Urlaub

Arriving at Schöna Urlaub after a long journey was like taking a big breath of fresh air and then exhaling. The apartment was clean, spacious, and well appointed. As in, everything needed for cooking was available and in a pleasing arrangement. The backyard provided space for the kids to run around a bit and even meet some of the other guests. Tobias and Daniel were responsive to any need. We felt absolutely at home.

This is not something I didn't like but just something to be aware of if you don't know the area. (I didn't.) This is a tiny, idyllic, quiet town. If you are traveling without a car, the bus system works well and the stop is nearby. But make sure you know when it's running and when the last trip is. The nearest major grocery store is a good 30 minutes down the mountain, in Bad Schandau. The only restaurant in town that we found (I did hear there were two) is very close and serves delectable food. And I mean truly delicious!

The apartment has everything you need to spend a relaxing weekend with friends or family. The place was clean with perfect amenities to cook or grill. The staff was always helpful and ready to answer any questions we had.

Sometimes the internet connection was not stable.

Huge brand new apartment, nicely furnished. Organic kitchen and bathroom supplies, well equipped kitchen. Nice garden, quiet location. Very good value for the money.

The location and house are very nice

A little stair gate so little kids can't fall down. And some old nails and screws must be removed.
