Location is excellent. The owner's representative was waiting for us with keys.

The words, "macabre", "sadomasochism", and "mysticism (voodoo)" come to mind as you look at the bizaare decoration of this place. As you enter the apartment you are greeted with a 5-foot paper sculpture of a human or ape-like being. This sculpture hangs on the wall and next to the head of this sculpture is another sculpture of a handgun; with a sculptured bullet enroute to the head. (You can see this sculpture on booking.com). In one corner, there is an animal's skull. In another corner is an antique wooden chair AND in the center of that seat is a 4-inch steel spike! Also on the seat is a horse "riding crop". Above the chair is a tiny 3 inch wire sculpture with a ceramic human-like skull. Next to this chair is a real, well-preserved little white fox head- complete with beady eyes to stare at you. In another corner are 3 plaster castings of what appear to be human heads. They are all fierce and ghoulish: one has animal horns, one has devilish-pointed teeth, and the third has a nightmarish smile. Over to another corner, there is a colorful ceramic statue showing 2 human-like figures with horns and tails. Laying down is a female creature. I could tell she is female because of her large exposed breasts- and oh of course she is on her back with her legs in the air. Very colorful and very detailed, she shows her genitalia with a large red hole and immediately next to the hole is a small extended piece of her anatomy standing up straight! Standing over her, the other figure looks through a telescope focused on her pelvis. I assume he's male because he has no breasts; but he's wearing polka-dot bows on his shoes. There is a large art case with glass doors. In that case is the top of an actual human skull. There are approximately 7 ceramic eggs here and each one is painted with great detail. All of these eggs show sex scenes, one with masturbation, another intercourse, another showing male prowess.

Location is superb in the old town section of Nuremberg, views of Albrecht Durer statue and the town castle. A few blocks away from the bustle of the markets, which was nice. Wonderful apartment richly appointed with art. A large outdoor balcony with plants, chairs for when the weather permitted, views of the sunset over the rooves. Fully equipped kitchen, everything we could ask for. Helpful notes were left by the homeowner, and we were met by a friend with keys who was very helpful. We could find food stores for essentials within walking distance.
