All in all, the property was great, reasonably located if you want to explore düsseldorf and cologne, even more so if you have a car - the parking space in the garage was highly appreciated! The apartment is nice and comfortable and mostly well equipped. Communication with the host was good. There were some minor details that had not been prepared when we arrived, but the hosts did their best to help!

mainly, I think that having a coffee machine is great, but it would be better to have one that uses capsules that can easily be bought in any supermarket. We went to 3 different shops, and none had the capsules needed. Also when you shower a lot of water spills out, maybe enlarge the water protection (glass or shower curtain) or at least provide a mop so one can clean up the excess water from the bathroom floor. The Cleanliness of the space was ok, but in the bathroom, after having a closer look, we would have appreciated a bit more attention to detail.

Die Gemeinde Erkrath selbst ist ein unerwartet reizendes Städtchen, wo wir täglich zum Frühstück beim Bäcker Terbuyken waren, der auch ein besonders Lob verdient. Vom Bahnhof sind es dann nur zehn Minuten mit Regio bis Düsseldorf.
