Ferienwohnung Schreiberstraße

Wir verbrachten 1 Woche in dieser sehr schönen Ferienwohnung. Es war alles sehr sauber. Die Ferienwohnung liegt nicht weit von der Innenstadt entfernt. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Bei der Beschreibung der Ferienwohnung wurde bei booking angegeben, Parkplatz inbegriffen. Darunter verstanden wir das zu der Ferienwohnung ein separater Parkplatz dazu gehört. Dies war leider nicht der Fall. Haben dann in der nähe immer einen Parkplatz suchen müssen.

Het was een comfortabel huisje in een rustige straat net buiten het centrum van Wernigerode, met een supermarkt op loopafstand.. We konden lekker zelf koken en op het terras eten. De badkamer was ook fijn, en het was luxe dat onze kinderen een eigen wc en wasbak hadden op hun verdieping. Het stadje is mooi, met genoeg eetgelegenheden, en andere mooie steden zoals Goslar in de buurt. We hebben een wandeling gemaakt in het Bodental, ook erg mooi.

Een paar kleine dingetjes, niets groots. De matrassen waren wat zacht, maar prima geslapen. En als je een lange zoon hebt (1.92 m) is het plafond van de slaapkamer boven net hoog genoeg 😊.

Really modern apartment, very nicely furnished.

Listed as having 2 bathrooms, but apartment only had one shower which we found inconvenient. Wasn't happy with neighbours who asked us to move our car which was legally parked!

The apartment had everything we needed and more. Lovely shower, comfortable beds, plenty of hanging space, good wifi, well kitted out kitchen with dishwasher. Bottled water and a beer each in the fridge was a bonus! The outside space looked great, but we didn’t get to use it sadly. Our fault!

We had planned to arrive by train, but ended up driving from UK. Since we were only there 3 nights, we didn’t have much luggage so lack of parking outside wasn’t a problem. A bigger group staying longer or using the car daily may find this inconvenient but it was fine for us.

- Great host: very friendly, we gave a call to adjust arrival time. He also helped out to find the good parking spot. In addition with city tax payment (that you do on arrival) we received public transport tickets (even though we did not use them, but it was a nice touch). Thanks so much! - Very clean well-equipped apartment - Awesome location - we would walk to the cute Wernigerode centre and even took a couple of hikes without using a car. With car you can reach many other cute spots like Quedlinburg which is 25 min away. - Terrace is awesome, even though we did not use it. - Definitely will be recommending this for any friends going to the region and looking for a great stay.

Not a dislike, but just a note on the apartment planning: if you're 4 people, then the second room is on another side via corridor and you need to have keys for both sides not to get locked out. One morning some of us woke up earlier before our main apartment roommates were still sleeping so not having their key we could not prepare breakfast first, but that's no problem and can be avoided as long as you communicate or share keys. However, it's also a plus if you have 4 people to have 2-2 division and even two bathrooms. We also had mixed opinions about pillows: 2 of us loved them, 2 struggled with them. Maybe a matter of taste. Very soft ones. Overall, these are more of tiny details to have in mind when staying here.
