Knus gezellig appartementje met privé tuintje. Veel extra's zoals zeep, koffiefilters, spons, afwasproduct enz.... Heel rustig gelegen en ingang achteraan via tuintje. Alles was aanwezig en heel proper. Gelegen op zo'n 100m van wandel/fietspaden tussen weiden en bossen. Goed voor wandelingen met onze hond.

Rustige ligging in doodlopende straat in stil dorpje. Op wandelafstand toegang tot verschillende wandelpaden en goed restaurant/cafe. Alles wat je nodig hebt was beschikbaar, eigenaars wonen boven jou en zijn vlot bereikbaar.

De spiegel hangt voor kleine mensen wel hoog en de woning is bereikbaar via een trap, maar dit was zelfs voor onze hond geen probleem.

Die Lage war gut

Hinweis, daß die FeWo nur über eine Treppe zu erreichen ist.

I would recommend finding something else nearby, for example in Stolberg itself.

I am truly puzzled by the amount of good reviews? How can this be the same place? On the website, it looked quite nice, but in reality, we were disappointed. The space is really very small and feels cramped. Next to our garden, there is a rabbit breeding facility, which causes an unpleasant smell and attracts a lot of flies because of all the rabbitpoo. Despite the screens on the windows, there were still many flies inside. The fact that there was a fly swatter in the apartment suggests that they are aware of this problem. The apartment lacked a dishwasher, which, while mentioned in the listing, still felt like a basic amenity that was missing. There is no room on the kitchen top to do dishes yourself. You can only use the stove to let your dishes drip/dry. However, the real deal-breaker was the bed: hard, sagging, and incredibly creaky with every movement, making it impossible to sleep comfortably. The Wi-Fi doesn’t work in the garden, which is a shame if you want to sit there quietly among the rabbits. On the positive side, the shower worked well. Additionally, Venwegen is currently difficult to reach due to ongoing roadworks in the area. A 5-minute drive to the supermarket now easily takes 15 minutes one way. It seems this situation will continue for some time (we are now in August 2024 it looks like it will be like that for another few years). In short, we regretted our visit.

Clean, quiet, cozy place. Great to spend holidays. The owner was kind and provided necessary information in advance. Good kitchen.

It might be better if there’s more garbage bags to separate trush.
