Well situated in old part of town

Basic anemities were not up to standard. One full toilet roll, and one used roll for 2 couples for 2 nights. The crockery was mismatched. For example ….. 2 small cups and 2 big cups. The wine glasses were all different sizes. The drying cloth for dishes were old and torn. Lid of kettle did not close. Coffee machine was not clean. For Wi-Fi you had to pay extra. Had to pay €200 deposit for breakage etc. As guest we had to take of pillow cases, take of sheets and duvet covers and fold them up. If not done € 25 would be taken from your € 200 deposit. There were no plastic bags to throw your litter in. Apartment was full of unnecessary adornments that could easy break and be a risk for losing your breakage deposit. “Second” room was only separated by a cupboard and loose curtain. Basic stuff like soap in bathroom was not part of anemities. The plug of separate lamp did not want to plug in socket.

Location - in the center of Konstanz, short walking distance to lake.

Small room, no WiFi!, very basic bathroom/shower. Old furnishing. Complicated check in as they require a deposit. Never had this ever before after hundreds of Airbnb and vacation rental stays. You receive a long list of rental conditions as soon as you book and then find more conditions (clean bathroom before you leave, strip beds etc) in the room. Ridiculous for the price this should be included.

Very nice location, close to the city centre and train station.

There is no Wi-Fi and the gsm signal is very weak. The owner is asking for a 200 euro safety deposit which I find unusual when you make a reservation through Booking. The deposit was refunded immediately after we left as there was no problem.
