Cozy apartment, well decorated and equipped. Our family of 5 had a nice and relaxing stay. The house has a lot of sustainable features such as solar heated water, solar energy, rain water capture, and the possibility to charge electric cars (though sadly I was not driving one). A guidebook was available with tips from the owner for visiting Cologne, along other Cologne related books on the dining room.

Being at a residential area, there's not much that is accessible by walking. You'll need to take a car or public transport (maybe a cargo bike) for most needs.

Excellent value for money. Very friendly host. Very clean. Spacious apartment with big windows and balcony doors that lights up the space. Very nice balcony that can be very enjoyable when the weather is good.

The property was in a lovely quiet suburb of Cologne. It is a 4 minute walk to the train station, where a 15 minute ride has you right in the city centre. The property has everything we needed for a 2 night stay. Pleasant host, comfortable beds and ample kitchen equipment. The terrace was an added bonus.

Shared access to the property and the hosts home, while not a problem some may question a lack of total privacy.

It was nice clean, very spacious room.

Close to public transport and spacious

The apartment is not closed by itself; it does not have a door. You come into the house and go up the stairs; there is nothing you can close off. On the last night, the host had guests at home and there was so much noise at midnight that we all woke up (since their guests have to go out the same entrance door). What is more, there was no hot water in the kitchen and no knife that was sharp enough to cut vegetables. The dishwasher was rusty and the bed linen and one room smelled as if they had not been dried enough. Expensive apartment for what it was.

A beautiful apartment, very comfortable, clean and nice. The owner is very kind. Very quiet area. The decoration of the apartment is great. On the other hand, they have everything you need at your disposal.

In general everything was very positive. Maybe a little uncomfortable in terms of location. But nothing bad.

We used this lovely apartment for our family trip to Cologne, the place had everything we needed. The location was perfect with a Metro stop just 5mins walk. The host was also exceptional and gave us lots of information on our trip. Would highly recommend.
