Chiemgau Apartments II (Schuhbaum)

Clean, location and host

Good little appartment. Small kitchen but everything you need for a few days. Appartment block has a pool and sauna which was lovely after a long walk. In the morning there was a little stand in the hall from the local bakery so fresh bread as well. There was also a balcony

Check in was difficult. The key was in the appartment but we weren't told that or the room number and the owner first didn't pick up the phone. But all went well in the end. Door to balcony didn't close properly.

The property was fine. We had everything we needed. Our room was clean, bed was comfy and in the kitchenette you have everything you need

I didnt like the staff in the reception. Then we entered the building there is the reception. I didnt know there are 2 different apartments- no 1 and no 2. We had booked Chiemgau ap II. So that reception wasnt for ap II. I asked for instruction to get to my room and it was a big mistake. The guy working there was very rude. He said like we came to the wrong place. Then I started to look for my booking details he said you should go upstairs to room no X. I thought we used the erong door and there suppose to be another door for ap II but there isnt. Seems like you should know how to go to your room even thought you are here for the first time. We were shocked by this behavior.

The apartment was good for short stay. We had everything we needed- good equipped mini kitchen, comfortable bed, balcony. Fast response of the host. Easy check in.

Some small repair work is needed. Many small things were broken: not working lamp on the table next to bed, falling bathroom handle, old kettle, falling down kitchen lamp, so old and dirty curtains and blinds. But this was more aesthetic matters that didn’t effect our stay in general.

Very well and nicely equipped room with the kitchen. Good view from balcony. A good bonus was the pool and saunas (until 9 pm). Beautiful surrounding.

Apartment was consistent with the description. Spacious enough for a couple. Clean and tidy. One of the best thing about it is the location. It is located next to beatiful, green area, full of animals, with excellent views on surrounding mountains. Perfect for long walks.

It's not strictly a complaint, just something you should be aware of. Appartment was equipped enough for us, but for some, small kitchenette may be not enough. It's good for a couple of days, but may be not comfortable enough if you plan to stay longer.
