Das kleine Appartement befindet sich im 2. OG und ist über eine Treppe zu erreichen. Es ist funktional eingerichtet; es hat uns nichts gefehlt- die Lage direkt am Deich war super. In wenigen Minuten konnten wir über eine Treppe zum Strand laufen. Das Schlafzimmer ist über eine kleine schmale Treppe zu erreichen. Der überdachte Balkon war mit zwei Sitzgelegenheiten ausgestattet. Das Appartement hat einen eigenen Parkplatz; und die Fahrräder konnten wir in einem Schuppen abstellen.

In der Unterkunft sind auch Hunde erlaubt- anscheinend war der Boden nicht richtig gereinigt. Mit dem Staubsauger habe ich die Haare weggesaugt!

The mattress was super thin

Landlady was in contact a day before arrival to provide instructions about the key location (key box outside property). Unexpectedly, I did however have some difficulties locating the entrance to the building (stair case is hidden from view when approaching the building, I could not find it and had to ring the contact number of the landlady - luckily, somebody was at the building at this moment and was able to bring me to the apartment and handed me the key). There had been a problem with the Wifi router on the day of my arrival which I was proactively informed about, and by the time of my arrival, the router had been already replaced and was in working order. I was impressed with this proactivity. The apartment was very modern, and well equipped, quite sufficient for a short stay.

The only thing I struggled with was the very steep stairs leading upstairs to the actual sleeping accommodation. The bedroom itself is nice and comfortable bed, but the staircase is a bit scary - not suitable for people with mobility issues or older people. Location: right behind the Deich and beach - perfect for this, but quite far to walk to train station and ferry terminal. I was looking for a place to have breakfast along the way, and was unable to find anywhere - apparently there are plenty of bakeries along the main street of Norddeich, but nothing near the apartment along the Deich!
