Great location.

The apartment could have been cleaner. We found some crumbs and food remains, like biscuits and chips, under the bed. The kitchen also seemed like it hadn’t been fully cleaned — there was still used coffee in the coffee machine. Many of the pans were quite worn, with scratched non-stick surfaces, which didn’t feel safe to use. The curtains in one of the bedrooms didn’t block out the light, which made it difficult to sleep in the morning. The mattresses were unfortunately not comfortable, which affected the quality of our rest. There was also a lingering smell of smoke in the living room, which was noticeable when we arrived.

Clean very comfortable

The location for this property is perfect! You can easily walk or bike all over Lübbenau. It is easy to get to the center of town and the Kahnfahrt locations are also easy to get to. We loved that we didn't need to use our car for anything. The apartment is comfortable. There are plenty of beds / sofa beds for a large group. The host also provides towels and linens. The kitchen was a little small. There is a small fridge and a stove. All of the necessary equipment for cooking is there. However, there is no oven. There is also a grill outside for guests to use.

Unfortunately, safety became a big issue for us on this trip. We got the keys out of a lock box on the day of arrival so we did not meet the owner upon arrival. The front door to the building was not always locked. Additionally, on two separate occasions, someone came into the apartment without our consent. We did not see anyone the first day, but the door to the apartment we were staying in was left open. The second day, we did see two people in the apartment and they said that they were there to change the chair covers. We felt completely unsafe after these instances and slept with a chair wedged under the door handle. We raised our complaint to Booking.com, but unfortunately, they did not do anything.
