Overall the location and the property are alright, nothing special, fair value for its price. Private parking is a plus.

There was no wifi. The host thinks it's my devices, neither my phone nor laptop was able to connect, but the fact is that they both were working on public wifi at other places, so it's def not my device but their wifi. The host doesn't speak English at all, after booking I tried to call them and never received an answer or a callback so I kept calling them. The phone call was already weird, I was not able to get answers to any of my questions because of language barriers. So I messaged them but for the first time, he kept my most important question unanswered. After letting the host know that there is no internet, he came into the room and was there for almost an hour which was really weird, uncomfortable, and after a while disrespectful like when he tried to take a photo of my laptop's screen without even asking if it's ok. At some point, he came back to the room and was just standing there talking on the phone and when I asked him what's going on he just kept talking in German. I asked him two more times, he looked at me and ignored my presence, thats when I got really pissed and asked him to leave the room and called support right away. By the way, they never replied to support either... In a message, he told me that as a host his job is to provide a clean room and that's it. Well Sir I was a host for many years and you are very wrong with that statement. As a host, you are the itinerary for the guest, I never received any information about basic stuff like where and how to get food for example. I booked this place because it had a restaurant but it was closed and because of the location getting food became a problem. It's ok not to speak English. But at least learn some basics so you can answer the minimal questions a guest might and should have. Hire someone who does. Have some information written or anything but standing there and not saying a word is not an option, speaking german is not an option either but disrespectful!

No breakfast is offered- hikers should consider that when traveling. also about 15 min walk from Sebnitz bus station if you're planning on walking there
