It had everything we had hoped for, a spacious apartment, views, heated and within a short distance from the centre of Berchtesgaden

Location. Host Inge and son Titus were so helpful and gifted us beers at arrival. Although weather was really epically bad we still could have a good time.

As stated by owner the water pressure was relatively low but doable.

Comfortable, well equipped apartment with a great location (view + just 7-8 minutes of walking from the city centre), nice host, parking place. Everything was perfect!

The location is very good, located in a calm, not busy street. There was enough space for the car. There are 2 toilets. In the garden theee are many beautiful flowers, good environment. Guest card is included which gives you free public transportation which is a big plus.

We had to hurry to fit into the arriving time frame, but noone was there, so basically it is a self check-in, but it was not mentioned anywhere. There were no instructions or guidance, we have to figure out everything by ourselves. (For example guest card) We paid for 5 persons but the apartment is more suitable or comfortable for only 4 people. The smoking should be banned on the balcony too, because the upper level guests were smoking and it made the balcony unusable. The wifi was unusable, terrible slow, limited session, we had to log in frequently.

Clean, comfortable old school German accommodation. Unique property that is part of a 1750’s palace complex which was really special.

It wasn’t possible to message the host on Booking.com or email before the stay so communication required calling in. Fortunately I speak German so was ok but would have been tough otherwise. Also, they required a 50pct prepayment from a German account which we could do since my daughter is studying there and has an account already but otherwise it would have been difficult as Americans. Also, when we arrived we had to pay in cash which fortunately we brought with us after seeing other reviews.

It was a super nice place with a direct view to the mountains. We are a family with 2 kids and they were super happy there We would book there again.

Stunning views. Only 5-10 minute max walk into the old town area.

Didn't have a washing machine . Pretty hard walk from main train station up hill. Next time we would get a taxi for 20 euro.

Have stayed here twice with my family. We love it. Will definitely be returning
