"Terrible stay at Paradiesisch wohnen in st Goarshausen near Loreley"

It was clean and rooms were spacious. The building is quite beautiful with good view on the Rhein. Friendly owner BUT the negatives outweigh the positives (for us)

LOUD FREIGHT TRAINS max 10 meters from window at rear, HEAVY TRAFFIC 5 meters from house at the front. You can almost touch the trains every 15 minutes or so right from your window - so close do they pass this house. Big heavy freight trains that take quite some time and with quite some noise. The sleeping couch for 1 of the kids was unhygenic and too small. Smaller than a regular sleeping couch that we would have expected. And a lot of flies.. At the front of the house there is the main road next to the Rhein. So constant traffic and motorcycles - also all night. In other reviews (I read too late) people called it trouble in stereo, coming from all sides. Some positive things: clean & very spacious. The apartment has many documents explaining that you incur extra costs when you leave sometimg on, or windows open or try to flush things. But no explanations on how some appliances work or what nice things to do nearby. Buy we booked for 3 nights and left after 1 because the noise was too disturbing for us and even my youngest (12) really could not stay on this couch.
