Villa Emma is an absolutely stunning property and a peaceful location, walking distance to Bad Shandau centre and with good public transport links (We travelled by train from Berlin airport.) The host was very helpful and was quick to respond, we arrived a bit later than anticipated but finding the property and collecting the keys was simple and stress free. We stayed in apartment 6 on the top floor- it was beautifully decorated and furnished and we really loved the bright and spacious feel - the bathroom and kitchen/dining area is all glazed and looks out onto the rockface so was great to watch the birds!! We had a busy week hiking and sight seeing and the Gästekarte meant we had complimentary local travel, including the Kirnitzschtal historic tram. Hope to stay again at Villa Emma as there is so much to see and do in the area.

There was almost nothing to fault with our stay so this is more feedback- There was very little soap in the dispenser in the toilet and it would've been helpful to have had some dish soap provided as when we arrived there was a smelly chopping board which needed a good scrub so we had to go back into town to buy some. Dishwasher tablets, kitchen paper, toilet paper and bodywash was provided however and greatly appreciated. This was just a small inconvenience and overall we had a wonderful stay.

The interior, facilities, and communication with the host were all excellent and reflected a high level of professionalism. Laundry facilities are available for a small additional fee. Parking is convenient, either directly in front of the property or in a nearby parking area. The apartment is an excellent base for hiking and exploring the area. Many walking routes start right from the doorstep, while nearby bus and tram stops provide easy access to other destinations. The town centre of Bad Schandau can be reached in about 15 minutes on foot via a pleasant walk through the park, making it easy to enjoy the local restaurants and shops,

Die Villa ist wunderschön und hochwertige eingerichtet, die Küche ist sehr komfortabel und hat alles was man braucht.

Das einige was uns gestört hat, dass das Schlafzimmer nicht abgedunkelt werden konnte. Die Gardinen waren lichtdurchlässig und somit war es schon um 6.30 Uhr taghell.

Tolle Lage für Wanderungen und Ortsbesichtigungen. Super ausgestattete und saubere Wohnung!

We konden in het appartement niet naar buiten kijken, er waren dakvensters.
