Very welcoming host, quiet place , very clean and safe parking space for motorcycles

The owner is extremely friendly and really tried to make an effort. The area is very quiet, this ensured a good nights sleep. Plenty of walking opportunities with a dog. Comfortable bed, overall a really pleasant stay. I would definitely stay there again when being in the area.

The host and family are friendly and flexible. I was offered a bigger room (rooms !) for the same price - excellent value for money. In fact, I enjoyed home made cake for free - which was a very gesture. Hof Keske in Peissen is located in a quiet village close to a busy road with good links to Itzehoe and Hohenwestedt and beyond (Hamburg, Kiel, Neumünster). The rural setting offers a peaceful atmosphere with horses, sheep and cows around.

The road sign for "Hof Keske" next to the busy leading to the village of Peissen seems to be old and writing is not very clear anymore.

Perfect stay. Can't complain about anything.

For anyone with mobility problems the external stairs up to the chalet would be a problem. The bed was just a little light in construction.

No shop or restaurant in the village, however the location was very quiet and peaceful.
