La cama

El anfitrión pasó de nosotros. 3 veces le llamé para poder hacer el checkin y no fue capaz de cogerme el teléfono ni de contestar al mensaje que le escribí por la app. Tuve que preguntar en el restaurante y ellos tuvieron que ponerse en contacto con él para que le cogiera el teléfono, y ni a ellos contestó a la primera, y le dijera que habitación teníamos. Al parecer no era la primera vez que pasaba esto con otros huéspedes. Si no llega a estar el restaurante abierto nos quedamos en la calle. Una verdadera vergüenza que la gente gane dinero de esa manera, porque coger el tlf no, pero cobrarnos la habitación si.

Die Lage ist top. Das Zimmer ausreichend groß und sauber. WLAN und TV. Unkomplizierte Abwicklung und eine Flasche Wasser zum Empfang.

Nichts zu beanstanden.

Gute Lage, freundliches Personal, gute Ausstattung (Kaffeeautomat, Teeservice), einfacher Check-in

Die Sicht (auf Flachdach), für eine Übernachtung aber o.k.

Sehr entgegenkommende Gastgeber, die uns deutlich früher in die Unterkunft einchecken ließen! Vielen Dank nochmal dafür!

The property has a great location and the kitchen is semi-well kitted out and certainly functional. Getting the keys was very simple and the area seemed quite nice.

The bed itself (either the mattress topper or the mattress itself) really smelled very bad. I didn't want the owners to come in while I was out so I did not mention it, so they might have fixed that if I had asked them to. The apartment is right above a restaurant which is very loud at weekends until pretty much midnight, so bring earplugs if you are a light sleeper. There were a few bugs (which is understandable due to the botanical gardens being right beside the property), but there were also fruit flies (probably from the previous guests?) which was not very pleasant or understandable. On a much less relevant level, the kitchen was functional but a few things were missing (smaller pan, scissors) which I would have needed.
