Little expensive

We booked the ground floor apartment. It was spotlessly clean, modern, light, bright, spacious and extremely well equipped with plenty of cooking equipment and utensils, etc. There were lots of useful things like herbs & spices, cooking oil, etc, along with thoughtful touches like excellent tourism information, a welcome message, little eco soaps in the bathrooms, etc. I particularly liked the eco/natural feel of the apartment with wooden furniture and floors. It was good to have 2 bedrooms and 2 shower rooms. In particular, the larger bathroom was lovely and had a huge walk-in shower. Plenty of towels were provided. The gardens and grounds were a special feature with a cute house with guinea pigs and rabbits, lots of lovely wild flowers, tulips, trees covered with blossom, etc. There were several fire pit areas and places to sit outside including dining table & chairs. We thought it would be lovely for a family holiday as children could play for hours in the garden and would love the animals. The apartments are in a beautiful location in the fabulous little village of Posing, just 10 minutes drive from the lovely town of Cham. Views are super, it's very peaceful and quiet. The owners live next door and were very helpful and friendly. I travelled with my elderly mother (who was having medical treatment in Cham) and it was very easy to pop in and out of Cham for her appointments. If you didn't have a car there is a train a short walk from the apartment which takes you into Cham very quickly. I can't fault anything, but it's worth knowing that there are steps up to the main door to the ground floor apartment. There is a handrail, but if someone had limited mobility or had difficulty lifting as I do (bad back / heavy suitcase, etc) you could access the apartment from the back door which didn't have steps. I didn't realize this until the next day as we arrived after dark.
