"Quiet, Clean Apartment just a Short Walk from Downtown Fussen"

We loved our stay. Haus Elise is located in a safe, quiet area that is a short walk from downtown Fussen. We took a short walk around some nearby lakes and visited the waterfall. The apartment has adequate room for our family of 5 and the kids liked the bunk beds. There is a beautiful view of the mountains from the balcony. We will try to stay in this apartment when we return to Fussen.

There is a short walk to the downtown area of Fussen, where the buses to Neuschwanstein and the train are located.

Everything worked perfectly. Exceptionally helpful host, who warned us on our arrival that the shops would be closed for the next two days.

Fuessen has become very expensive, and has a problem with traffic. We were not aware that (in summer 2022) one needed to book months in advance if one wants to see inside the royal castles, so we missed out on this.
