City Apartment

Logement spacieux et confortable pour 4 personnes . Bel emplacement tout près du centre ville.

It was in a very good location, quick walk to the main town. The apartment felt really homey and allowed my group of friends to have some space from each other.

The shower head attaches to the wall at thigh level and was a tight tub, so the shower was not very good. We struggled to open the door at first, and even emailed the host, but didn't ever get a response to the few questions we had... (Baden-Baden Spa Tax!)

The apartment was spacious and good size for our large family with children. We had enough room to spread out and weren't on top of each other. The location, although it was on a hill, was good and within walking distance to main roads, shops and parks.

The door to the apartment is very finicky and we struggled every time we would return to the apartment. The key had to be turned back and forth many times before the door would unlock. Should probably be replaced. The hook that holds the shower handle was broke so we had to hold it. The worst part was that the shower door had gaps so water would leak out everywhere when we tried to shower. I tried to take a bath instead so the water wouldn't leak out of the tub, but the tub is so narrow I couldn't even sit or kneel in it. Was very inconvenient and hard to wash up especially with kids.

the apartment was quite spatious even for 5 persons, decently cleaned (some small scratches on walls not counting :-)) and the kitchen was decently equipped. even if there was no airco and outside the temperature reached 30gC inside it was ok. there was also a fan in main bedroom. was quite ok to retrieve the keys via a lock box at entrance of the building. no issue with english.

first, the bed in the secondary bedroom (on the left as you enter) was quite unconfortable and was creaking quite badly when one was turning in bed wich of course was disturbing the other person. my children did not slept well at all and next night they moved to the bed in the living room which was better. lucky we were only with 5 and one person slept in the 2nd bedroom alone which was a bit more acceptable. also the pillows were quite soft. as mentioned by others indeed the bathroom was quite narrow and you needed to keep the shower head in hand to take a shower. I was not informed that we will receive a Baden card and as we arived late and I only seen them at the end when I left the tourist tax.
