Kleine Auszeit am Rathaus

Interesting querky house in the old centre of Quedlinburg.

My room was small with little space to open my suitcase. My room was unventilated and too warm because its window, which overlooks the street at ground floor level, could not be opened. My room was poorly lit with the washbasin and shower in semi darkness. There was no bedside lamp and no means of switching the rather dim ceiling light on or off from the bed. The property seems to have no WiFi of its own, but it was easy to connect to the neighbouring hotel's WiFi and also to the free WiFi provided by Quedlinburg town.

Room is in original old Fachwerk building, very charming and original. Location directly at the market square could not be better, nevertheless quiet.

'Auszeit' may mean for many to be without internet. So there was no individual WiFi provision. Fortunately, the public network provided by the town of Quedlinburg was available at the location.

The location, the atmosphere, the welcoming. The charm of sleeping in a timber frame home.

Note: there are stairs, and three minute walk to parking, but not at all a problem for us.

It is exactly the same room as the picture shown. Very central location right next to the square.

Had to spend sometimes to locate the property, cannot spot the signboards. No host meeting me.

Very friendly host, very clean room and facilities, right in the middle of town, recommended.
