Ferienwohnung Hecker

Unseren Kollegen hat es die Wohnung gefallen. Schlüsselübergabe funktionierte unkompliziert. Wir würden die Wohnung gern wieder buchen, sollten wir in der Nähe sein.

Very clean apartment with everything you need. The digital access is convenient. Family Hecker is very friendly and accommodating.

Friendly and responsive host. Good location. Quiet street and close to Baden Baden and black forest. Free parking in the street. Possibility to use the kitchen to cook. Clean and beautiful apartment. Fast internet. I recommend this place.

Great hosts; very clean place, and well organized! Bonus: washing machine and dryer available, so you can travel light :)

Not much. Pillows weren't comfy, and kitchen could have had sugar/salt/peper/..

Friendly hosts with excellent communication skills (email and mobilephone). They also provided swift support in person when needed. We travelled as a couple and received each our own house key. The apartment is very big, immaculately clean, newly furnished with comfortable, minimalist furniture. No carpets, floors are tiled or have laminate, which makes a big difference to cleanliness. Two separate bedrooms are available which is ideal in the event that one person may have to isolate or else. Everything needed for self-catering is available, fully equipped kitchen. They have a washing-machine and a dryer. The shutters were great as they allowed to block out light completely or they could be adjusted to allow some light to enter. The bathroom has a bath-tub with shower-head. Free Wifi. Huge TV. There is enough space to park bikes in the long entrance hall of the apartment without restricting passage. Located in a residential area with available on-street parking. Generally quiet. There was an assigned letterbox which received the local event guides and weekly city newpaper (WO and RAZ) which was really handy. Access road to Baden-Baden nearby, also close to Rastatt city centre (5 minutes by car).

The apartment is souterrain, i.e. in the basement which made it a little tricky to ventilate and it didn't get as much daylight. The pillows were rather uncomfortable (80cmx80cm) and provided no support as they were large and did not have much filling which had clumped to form lumps. The interior doors had to be firmly pushed/ pulled shut as they did not close easily with the door handle alone.
