The apartment is absolutely beautifull en very well equipped. The location is in the centre and walking distance from train station and everything else. Beds super comfortable. Host is very helfull and friendly. Don't even think twice, book this apartment.

Slightly less intuitive unlocking with a code. But nothing serious ...

Staying at this place was simply amazing - great locality (including safe parking in a walking distance), absolutely wonderful apartment (100% clean, modern, high quality of furniture, fully equipped kitchen...and those rubber ducks in the bathroom, they made our day :-D). I can fully recommend to the families, house is quite, in a small lane, directly in the old town. And communication with the owner was excellent, fast, fully supporting, thank you once more, Sarah! :-)

We were searching for a transit stop in the area and were not even considering Meissen at the beginning - ended up choosing this apartment over several other options and were so happy we did! The flat is very nice, it has everything you need for a comfortable stay and quite some extras that reveal the owners' personalities and their care towards the guests. We liked the apartment style, with furniture and accents that show the owners' interests and passions. The location is great - you literally live in the heart of the town just a couple of steps away from the main tourist attractions and lots and lots of nice cafes, restaurants and all sorts of shops. Bigger supermarkets are around 15 min walk with a stroller - so pretty close as well. And Meissen is so beautiful - the weather was rather rainy during our stay, but we really embraced it and explored the town anyways, a wonderful experience totally worth living. On a more practical side - I really liked the possibility to sort the waste, all sorts of kitchen appliances in a small but very practical kitchen (we cook a lot and even had the possibility to brew our loose tea the way we do at home), the dishwasher, overall impeccable cleanliness and the smart access system that makes checking in and out a breeze. The parking lot is also very close, and the instructions provided by the hosts are very detailed and clear. The bathroom is very spacious, with a big bathtub and a separate heater, which is super nice in colder weather. The apartment building even has a small internal yard with a grill that the residents can use, we didn't get to use it but will definitely plan to the next time! We were travelling with an infant, so needed a crib and a high chair, that were both provided upon request - and those were of great quality, too.

The accomodation was perfect for us, so nothing to complain about. I will leave here couple of notes that may be useful for fellow travelers. The apartment did not have a washing machine at the time of our visit - was not a problem for us though as we only stayed for couple of days. Another thing to mention would be that the stairs are quite steep, was not a problem for us, but something to keep in mind for the guests with mobility issues or young children - again, nothing crazy, but expect to see the old building type of stairs here, as you're really in a historical center.

Good location. Welcoming hostess. It was a bit difficult to find a parking space, but it is close to the house. The hostess allowed us to pick up things an hour and a half later.

The apartment was really nice and clean. Every detail was prepared for our stay, so we were super-comfortable. The hosts respond fast to any questions here on Booking and also provide detailed instructions beforehand on how to find parking, how to enter the apartment door and even on how to use some of the facilities. I would love to come back again!

Everything was great!

I & my family stayed in these really beautiful apartments for two nights. Apartments are located just 2 minutes from the central market square and the middle of beautiful Meissen. You can make foot trips from the apartments to any of Meissen's attractions, like the Porcelain Museum or Albrechtsburg Castle. Apartments are equipped with everything that you need. And you can feel the owner's love for southern Africa in apartment furnishing. We will definitely stay in these apartments if we come to Meissen again.
