The entire stay here was fantastic! The house is a wonder, it is beautiful, so big and with real Bavarian flair. We've been to Oberammergau at least 8 times in our travels to Germany and this visit was by far the best stay we've had staying at the Lang house. The hospitality and friendly welcome the Lang family gave us was amazing. They really went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and comfortable. And their refrigerator is full of beer and wine ALL for free for you. Just book this place as you next stay in Oberammergau and you will experience a great time here. Everything was PERFECT!

В багатих апартаментах площею 120 метрів був величезний балкон з зоною відпочинку. Також в цьому будинку є оглядова вежа на все місто та гори. Тут ви пірнаєте в атмосферу цієї місцевості. Це нас дуже вразило, коли ти знаходишся в красивому місці з видом на баварські Альпи. Дякуємо власникам за гостинність. Все було дуже душевно та комфортно.

Das Haus hatte täglich neue Überraschungen für uns parat. Wer das rustikale mag, ist hier perfekt aufgehoben. Vermieter sehr sympathisch.

It’s an amazing historical building filled with antique furniture, and the structure of the house gives a vivid sense of the past. There is plenty of space throughout. It was a wonderful experience for our 1.5-year-old daughter—she was thrilled to ride her tiny bike and run along the corridor! With so much room, we sometimes couldn’t decide where to spend our time: the breakfast room or the main room, which is s real treasure. It truly feels like stepping into a Harry Potter movie, or living like a wealthy village noble. We especially enjoyed visiting the tower, a true landmark of the town, with absolutely stunning views. Overall, it’s a rich and memorable experience—one that leaves you with stories to take home. I’m excited that there is a possibility to touch the history that way, to live through it, incredible. We always walked home with seeing the tower, ah we are there!:)

It may be slightly inconvenient for guests who expect top modern standards throughout the property. For us, this wasn’t an issue at all—the house is very old, and we didn’t expect it to be brand-new or perfect.

The apartament was not suitable for a family with children because the two double bedrooms were too far from each other and the bathroom was in another far separated room. Moreover, in the common corridor there was the main entrance of another apartament, so no privacy when you need to go to the bathroom. In the breakfast room we found coffee pods overdue... it was a pity....

The three bedroom apartment was huge! So much space for our family of five, authentic, comfortable, garage parking and welcoming hosts (they even left some drinks for our arrival). A lovely town, and if you have time, check out the family history and museum onsite.

Good comfort and value in a great location.

The bathroom was far away for the bedroom and also not knowing who else we were sharing the bathroom with made it awkward as we were under the impression we had rented the entire top floor but there were other rooms on the top floor and it made it difficult to understand what exactly it meant by rented the entire floor. Would have liked more clarity on the part of the staff.
