Schön eingerichtet, sauber und sehr freundliches, zuvorkommendes Personal. Die Lage war für uns sehr praktisch, relativ nah zum Hauptbahnhof, sonst nicht besonders schön.

It is well connected by bus to other parts of the city. A large shopping mall and several stores are located nearby, about 2 km away. The kitchen and bathroom appeared new and fairly well equipped.

Everything else was disappointing. The price does not reflect the actual condition of the accommodation. The neighborhood felt unsafe and uncomfortable — especially at night, when groups of people, often smoking weed, loitered on street corners and sometimes followed me. The apartment building itself is old and has a strong, unpleasant odor in the hallways. The apartment looked smaller and quite different from the photos. I booked the place expecting a private washing machine, but it turned out to be a shared one for all units. When I requested fresh towels and sheets, the owner demanded €45 for them. I had clearly stated that I don’t speak German, yet he continued to write only in German and stopped responding altogether after I raised concerns. Accessing the apartment was also difficult — the entry system failed 2–3 times, leaving me locked outside for 20–30 minutes on multiple occasions. Right outside my apartment window were garbage bins, which the owner frequently opened and dragged early in the morning, creating a lot of noise around 7 a.m. daily. The backyard was often full of loud people, making it hard to relax. Overall, it might be acceptable for a short 2–3 day tourist stay. But for a longer visit — especially a 10-day business trip, like mine — I wouldn't recommend it, as it’s not restful or professionally suitable.

Die Unterkunft in Essen ist gut gelegen und sehr sauber. Die Kommunikation mit dem Personal war einfach und angenehm.

Nur ein kleiner Hinweis – es fehlt ein wenig an Kochgeschirr zur Zubereitung von Speisen. Ein Backofen war leider nicht vorhanden – das wäre für die Zubereitung mancher Gerichte praktisch gewesen.
