Haus Michler

Nu voor de tweede keer geboekt en nog steeds zeer tevreden. Ontvangst is hartelijk en goed verzorgd. Alles is aanwezig en de inrichting doet lekker huiselijk aan. Omgeving is prachtig en het stadje is op loopafstand. De familie Michler is zeer behulpzaam en helpt wanneer nodig.

Er viel niks tegen.

Owner was gardening when we arrived and showed us to our apartment very quickly. He was very friendly, even if he didn't speak any English. We managed with good intentions and my little remembered German (I believe that his wife speaks some English, but we muddled by in German). Apartment is superb - spacious, good facilities, clean, well decorated, excellent views from the balcony. No problems with parking (in view of the apartment window too). Strong wifi signal everywhere. Medium/firm bed - very good for us. Lovely walk in the woods into town (once we discovered that way). Very generous gifts (wine, sparkling water) upon arrival. Book it, you won't regret it!

Not a lot. We could hear some noise from the family in the apartment above, but nothing too much. Advert said there was a washing machine, but I think that was only the apartment above ours (we didn't ask to check). I still can't get on with German pillows, preferring a harder and higher pillow (even when folding the German one in half it wasn't to my comfort levels - but this is very personal, not a criticism of the apartment). Book the apartment - there is nothing not to like.

The house was clean and well equipped. Position was good, close to a walking track down into town. The view from the living room and balcony was lovely.

We were not told that we would need to pay for our accommodation in cash at the end of our stay. We would have been happy to do this if we had been told. As it was, we were accosted by the owner and accused of not paying as we waited for a bus to take us to our next destination.
