Damp, basement feel

The location, the spaciousness of the apartment, the facilities for self catering within the apartment, the view across the Mosel, the beds. The Kaufland superstore with an excellent bakery section and an instore bakery outlet and a huge variety of fresh and frozen and tinned food just down the road. The sidewalks were salted before 6 in the morning!! The city itself.

Not the fault of the host but because of ongoing roadworks the direct bus from the Hauptbahnhof had been rerouted and the alternative service involved a longer walk. There was wi-fi but sometimes it struggled. We had cold partly sunny but dry weather. In wet weather the walk to the nearest bus would have been unpleasant.

We really enjoyed our stay here. Lovely apartment, 15 minutes walk into Trier centre. The best feature is the private terrace overlooking the river. The parking space right outside was an added bonus too 🙂

The beds and the pillows could be more comfortable.

The instructions to access the property were very clear, and the owner was very flexible with check-in time. They also have an allocated car parking space right by the property.
