Haus Avallon

Lovely family, clean, good facilities, loved the area in the bottom accommodation where you could sit in the evening getting the late sun, the top apartment had the balcony that you could sit out and get the late sun. Close to shops and swimming pool. Travel card for regions busses and trains are a real bonus. This is the 2nd time I have stayed here and would love to do so again

The Hill.

In a nice quiet location, about a 20 minute walk from the centre of Cochem. Very clean, comfortable and well equipped accommodation, with good parking facilities on site.

One very minor problem was the Wi-Fi signal, which in the bedroom was weak or would drop out completely, a Wi-Fi booster would probably eliminate this, but it didn’t spoil our stay in apartment Finn

It was a nice enough apartment. Nicely decorated and everything you needed there. We stayed for 8 days and could have used a few extra towels, one each for that length of time was a bit tough. The balcony was small but nice to sit on in the evening and look at the stars. Location for us was good, a bit of a walk into town, not too far and it was a pleasant walk.

The pillows were really bad! Like weird beanbags!! Also it was really hot in the apartment all the time, fans would have helped.

In a nice quiet residential location, with free parking, yet only a 20 minute walk to the centre of town, and only a short drive from a couple of local supermarkets. The property is modern with underfloor heating and tastefully decorated throughout with everything you would expect to make your stay pleasant.

Just something to bear in mind is that the entrance to the car park is down a relatively steep slope, and during our stay we had a small amount of snow which froze overnight, which made leaving the car park a little challenging.

Very clean and well equipped apartment in a nice quiet residential area, within easy reach of Cochem and all it has to offer.

The only minor disappointment was that we didn’t get to meet the owners, but that hasn’t stopped us from re- booking this apartment for our next visit to Cochem
