Das Gelbe Haus - Drei besondere Ferienwohnungen

Wir waren begeistert, da neben dem freundlichen Empfang ein wahres Kleinod auf einen wartet. Ein mit Geschmack und Augenmaß renoviertes Denkmal, ein Hof, wie man den in Italien erwarten würde, eine Ferienwohnung die bei der Ausstattung keine Wünsche offen lässt. Man kann die Bilder auf sich wirken lassen und vor Ort ist es noch schöner. Die Lage nahe der Innenstadt ist ideal und gleichzeitig ist es ruhig. Wir haben jeden Tag prima geschlafen und sind entspannt in den Tag gestartet. Ich kann den Aufenthalt dort jedem wärmstens empfehlen. Man merkt auch, dass die Gastgeber mit Verstand und Herz bei der Sache sind und es sind die vielen Kleinigkeiten (kleine Blumenbouquets, frischer Kaffee, Essig/Öl, Gewürze, Spiele, kostenlose Waschmaschine, Tipps uvm.) heben die Unterkunft ab. Wir prüfen gerade wann wir wiederkommen.

Kein negativer Punkt, sondern lediglich ein Hinweis für den Alkoven im Felsenhäuschen: Die zwei Schlafplätze sind über eine Leiter zu erreichen, so dass man mit Kleinkindern überlegen sollte, ob die da oben schlafen sollen. Spannbare Netze schützen vor dem herunterfallen.

Very cosy, with lots of home comforts, tea & coffee facilities. The hosts have 2 cats, they host was very friendly and clearly does a lot to make the place very sweet such as flowers and sweets, a guest book, lots of outside cushions, nice shampoos, decorations and such on furniture and windowsills. Lots of utensils. There were board games available in the common area which the kids loved almost as much as the cat(s). There are cats painted on walls all around Flensburg whoch the kids enjoyed finding so this added to the charm having a cat greet us when we arrived home (never inside our apartment, nearly always waiting in the entrance courtyard). He was never a nuisance.

The sofa bed blocks any seating other than the dining table and is a bit close to the master double bed. It is a layout problem. The room/apartment is large and spacious, well furnished but I don't have a solution for making that part of the big open space more usable when the sofa is made into a bed. It would be very luxurious for a couple without the need to remake sofas each morning or not be able to use other furniture. The bathroom is also large but we were missing a shower curtain for privacy whilst 4 were sharing. There's a glass screen and no door to the shower. Which looks very smart but is a little less practical if someone needs to the toilet or sink. Also as it gets a bit wet from the shower. Perhaps because the shower was a nice amount of powerful, the drainage and lack of extraction led to a bit of a steamy bathroom. We also would have liked a microwave but the kitchen is pretty well fasciliated & large for the size of the room, everything works and in near new condition. Particularly good for self catering.

Wir wurden persönlich empfangen und uns wurde bei der Schlüsselübergabe alles gezeigt und erklärt. Es war ein sehr warmes und persönliches Willkommen.

Ganz liebevoll eingerichtete Ferienwohnung, super liebe Gastgeber. Alles ist um die Ecke, ob der Bäcker, Restaurants oder der Hafen wo für jeden was dabei ist. Die Küche ist voll ausgestattet, Milchaufschäumer, Handrührgerät und Stabmixer sind vorhanden. Wer sich in der Küche austoben möchte kann dies auch im Urlaub machen. Der Innenhof ist sehr gemütliches läd zu lauschigen Abenden ein. Wir kommen wieder, uns hat es sehr gefallen.

Everything that you wished for was in the kitchens..... Tea Coffee. sugars, you name it. The flats had all the facilities as home or even better, incl. the outdoor courtyard. FAB!

Absolutely nothing - just PERFECT!!!

Beautifully restored, large apartment with a wonderful courtyard to relax. Very nice setting.

-Tanja and Lars were exceptional hosts. Pleasant and communicative, they exceeded our expectations. -We were allowed to check in early and had a safe place to store our bicycles in the courtyard. - The apartment was located only minutes from the main shopping street and the harbor. -Fresh flowers in every room. -High-quality bedding. - Welcome treats like bottled water, delicious homemade jam (the best I‘ve ever had), and the cutest little handmade soap. - Nice outdoor seating areas for when the weather was nice. - Really nice wood flooring and stairs in the apartment. Everything was lovingly restored in this old building. Beautiful and charming. -One of the guests sang me a lovely operatic German version of „happy birthday“ upon our departure. It made my whole trip.
