"Es war für mich als Mama mit zwei Kindern leider eher abenteuerlich und anstrengend anstatt erholsam…"

Es war sehr ruhig

Der Weg zur Ferienwohnung war leider alles andere als schön, vorallem wenn man mit Baby und Kinderwagen anreist. Das warme Wasser reicht leider zum Baden in der schönen Wanne nicht aus und der Abfluss ist nicht dicht. Die Geräte wie Wasserkocher, Microwelle etc. sind leider etwas in die Jahre gekommen. An der Sauberkeit der Wohnung, lässt sich noch etwas machen.

Super ruhige Lage. Wir haben auch den Kaminofen genutzt. Holz wurde uns gebracht. Es war ein sehr schöner Aufenthalt.

"It's a good place to crash, sleep and shower... not really to hang out in."

The location is excellent for the small town of Kranichfeld. Everything is really a short walk away and there's a great hidden alleyway that takes you down to the main street at the end of the driveway of the property.

Everything could use a little touching up... it's all showing its age and wear and the couch and pillows are ready to be replaced. That said... I think this is mainly a place for people to crash when there are music festivals at the castle. So for younger travelers this place is a good fit for a weekend crash pad.
