Ferienwohnung am Kirnbergsee

Es war ein wunderschöner, erholsamer Familienurlaub bei einer unglaublich liebenswerten "Vermieter Familie" die wir auf kurzer Zeit ins ❤️ geschlossen haben. Unsere Tochter wollte gar nicht mehr heim. Ihr seid einfach spitze, wir kommen gerne wieder.😊

Gibt es nix es war alles perfekt

Exceptionally friendly and obliging hosts who even helped our dog who was nervous of the steep stairs into the apartment. Apartment was lovely and comfortable, fittings all in good condition and perfectly clean. The bath was amazing! Would be great for families. Beautiful views across the pretty, quiet village and valley. Walking distance from a forest and a short drive to a supermarket with larger towns not far away.

The only downsides for us were that there was no washing machine as we were there for 3 nights as part of a long holiday (but also, we didn't ask). Also the bathroom did not have an exhaust fan so it got quite steamy - can be somewhat helped by opening the skylight. But these are minor issues that did not in any way detract from our comfort or enjoyment of the property.

In a beautiful location in the Black Forest, just minutes away from the forest itself and from the Kirnbergsee. The Kirnbergsee is only about 2.5km to walk/ run around, so perfect for a bit of exercise. As a bonus, there's a cafe right in the shore of the lake which does lovely ice cream. The hosts are very friendly and helpful. We also made use of the 'Konus' card to access free train travel for a trip to Freiburg, making our day trip there much more relaxing than if we'd driven. The flat is well appointed and there are lovely views over the forest. There are lots of steps to access the property though, which would be a problem for some.

You need to watch out for the low ceilings around the property! There are no bath towels provided, only hand towels, and there is no door for the room with the single beds.

It was a quiet location withbeautifulviews. The hosts were friendly and helpful. The apartment had everything we needed.

There were a lot of steps up to the house. Being on the top floor, it had a sloping roof, which we often banged our heads on.
