De locatie was perfect, op 200 meter van het prachtige strand en de Oostzee. Modern, comfortabel en netjes appartement met groot balkon. Op redelijke loopafstand van de boulevard en winkeltjes in westelijk Kühlungsborn. Ook het oostelijk deel van de badplaats is dichtbij en vlot te bereiken op de fiets of met de auto. Grotere plaatsen als Rostock, Wismar en Schwerin zijn wat verder weg, maar de rit er naar toe is prachtig vanwege het glooiende landschap.

De stofzuiger in het appartement deed het niet en het Nespresso apparaat zorgde steeds voor kortsluiting. Ook was het appartement niet voorzien van basisbehoeften die je voor die prijs mag verwachten: afwaskwast, vuilniszakken, koffiepads, knijpers.
