Apartment Regensburg

This flat was exactly what I needed: a temporary home for a week. I liked the location: it was close enough to the Old Town and the main train station, yet far enough to provide peace and quiet. The restaurant downstairs - even though busy - was also surprisingly quiet. Transportation was also great, given that there's a bus station with several lines serving it nearby, not to mention several additional stops within easy reach of the neighbourhood. There's a well-stacked supermarket nearby. The apartment's windows were facing the north - this made the place pleasant and cool regardless of the heatwave which I experienced for a few days while I was there. The facilities were also superb: I prefer cooking my own meals when I can, so the well-equipped kitchen was much appreciated. The host provided voluminous useful information, not only about the apartment, but also about Regensburg, which was much appreciated. Check-in was done remotely, so the very detailed instructions (including pictures) was absolutely helpful.

I have no complaints whatsoever. One minor item: the exhaust in the bathroom is very dusty and requires a deep clean once in a while, but this aspect was not a deal breaker at all. Also worth pointing out, that there is a neighbour next door who is a chain smoker (which is beyond the property's control): access to the apartment requires passing through a public corridor which can smell very smoky due to this particular neighbour.

Es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. Die Nähe zur Uni und zur Altstadt war perfekt für uns. Parkplatz direkt ums Eck.

Ubytování čisté, vkusně zařízené, parkování poblíž bytu. Do centra možnost hromadnou dopravou. Překvapilo nás, že bylo připravené menší pohoštění, bylo to velmi milé. 😉 Instrukce k ubytování byly perfektní, za což paní majitelce vřele děkujeme.Dostali jsme i tipy na zajímavá místa v Regensburgu. Cítili jsme se u ní jako doma. 👍

We were in Regensburg for a conference. The property is very close to the university with all the facilities we needed including excellent internet & access to a washer & drier. A large grocery store is about 10 minutes' walk from the property and a good bus service into the 'Altstadt' about 5 minutes away. If we have the opportunity to get back to Regensburg we would definitely try to stay here again. I highly recommend this property
