Mosel Dream

Stunning views of the Moselle River. 3 large bedrooms - perfect for family with teenagers. Excellent showers and kitchen facilities. Walkable to the central village. Fabulous dinner just across the bridge a Da Vinci Italian. Cochem castle tour was amazing.

Thicker mattresses in Bed 2 and 3 would make it more comfortable bedding wise, however, main bedroom was extremely comfortable.

Location and view of the river from the balcony are beautiful and the decor was very nice. Manager was very kind and responsive.

There should be a bigger warning that the road to the rental is a very narrow cobblestone road and should only be driven with a small car. Our car was medium + sized and we barely fit. We hit a step and it popped our tire, a big inconvenience. Thank goodness we found Herman from Helmes auto repair and got it fixed. The manager did check to see if we could stay another night if the tire wasn’t fixed in time but we were able to leave by normal check out time. The narrow road goes right in front of the rental so you can stop and unload which was nice, however, to get to the garage as you have to drive down the cobblestone road and on to the main road to get to the garage which is located under the rental, then hike back up to the rental. Not a big deal but also not convenient. Definitely not a place for someone with mobility issues. Little bugs were on the kitchen windowsill and in the bathroom. Went to grab a knife and found at least 7 of them dirty. It was hot and with no AC it would have been nice to have some fans in the rental. There were no extra towels given and no iron.

access to the accommodation via a street for vehicles up to 1.8m wide, otherwise via a one-way street in the opposite direction. Weak wi-fi signal, antenna in the house across the street. The request to remove the beds, take out the trash cans is unreasonable for the price.

The property's location is amazing, on the path to the castle and directly across from the Mosel river. It is in close walking distance to everything. It was also extremely clean and comfortable. Wifi worked great for us.

It was a little difficult to find the location for key pickup but once I understood that the pickup was at a home along a thin road directly behind the house, I found it easily. Just drive past the house to a small parking lot and then walk up the path behind the house. Or, walk to the stairs to the same path that are to the left of the house as you are facing the river and you will find the designated "happy house" for key pickup directly across the path behind the Mosel Dream house.

Beautiful apartment in an excellent location. Large, very well equipped- had everything you could need. One of the best we've stayed at. Highly recommend
