Wohnen unter dem Schloss

Location was excellent in the old town- right beside the castle, the Main Street and the old bridge. Perfect! The apartment was lovely and warm during a really cold spell, including snow. Really comfortable.

Fantastische locatie: midden in de oude stad, maar toch rustig. Vlakbij de Bergbasn, restaurants en winkels.

Lekkere stoel ontbreekt.

De locatie is uitstekend, centraal gelegen vlakbij de Hauptstrasse met een gevarieerd aanbod van cafés, restaurants en winkels. De beheerder reageerde snel en to-the-point op onze vragen. Het appartement is comfortabel en ook bij deze lage temperaturen behaaglijk warm, m.u.v. de keuken. Alles was aanwezig volgens de beschrijving.

Het appartement heeft een wat aparte indeling, met het tweepersoonsbed + extra 1 p-bed in de woonkamer. Met een open trap naar boven kom je op de zolderverdieping met een slaapbank (dunne matrasjes!) en een 1 p-bed. De locatie is uitstekend, maar wanneer je met de auto komt kun je die alleen in de buurt parkeren in peperdure parkeergarages,

Location. Below you can watch Christmas shoppers at the market. Delicious bakery and coffee shop within seconds of the entrance. You can pull up in front of the door, drop your bags and park one block away. It is a couple blocks to most of the shops but a pleasant walk. If you stay on the 3rd floor you can sit on the deck and see the castle. Accommdations - comfortable and clean. Everything you need to be comfortable. Nespresso machine (not the round pods) kettle and refrigerator. Kitchen equipped with dish soap. Management - responsive and helpful. The steps - were many - however plenty of places to stop and rest and easy to navigate even with my 84 year old mother. Floorplan - loved it. Separate bedroom. Bathroom was private and plenty of common space.

No bathroom amenities - you need to bring your own soap and shampoo.

Die Lage ist fantastisch. Der Ausblick ist toll.

The flat was located in the heart of Heidelberg’s old-town with Christmas market just outside the door. The apartment was spacious and clean very cosy. It was perfect for our weekend trip to see the market and start the Holiday season. Also the host was very helpful with quick responses

The apartment was fully equipped with all amenities, including a full-scale kitchen. It was absolutely comfortable for a family of four, all adults. We stayed during the period of the Christmas Markets, and from the window we had a wonderful view to the market in the square just below, as well as to the famous Cathedral of the city. Form the windows on the other side (including the terrace) we had a wonderful view of the unique Castle of Heidelberg. It was sad moment when we had to check-out...

Die Lage ist zentral und die Sicht wunderschön. Die Schlüsselübergabe funktionniert sehr gut und Fragen werden auch während des Aufenthalts sofort geklärt.

Die Treppe in den 3. Stock ist relativ schmal und steil, so dass man gut zu Fuss sein sollte. Die Küche ist sehr klein und nur mit dem Nötigsten ausgestattet.
