Everything was perfect..

There’s everything you could possibly need. Super friendly host, lovely details everywhere you look. Everything geared to the usual needs of the traveler.

Sandra and Thomas were very kind. although I arrived very late (after midnight ), they came for my check in. They have also taken me with their car back to the train station as I was in a hurry. the house is very clean and tidy. the location is also calm and beautiful. if you want to use the public transportation there is a 10-12 min walk to the tram station.

We just stayed one night but as a stop-over between southern Germany and Sweden it was excellent. Everything worked as expected, it was clean and the area felt calm and safe. The apartment had all we needed for a good nights sleep and possibility to make breakfast in the morning. Before we left we took a stroll and looked at the "Mittellandkanal" which was nice.

Bedsheets made of syntetic material are practical but not very comfortable. The sign outside the apartment reading "Bates motel" is funny during the day but when you arrive a rainy night without seeing a single person it doesn't really lift your mood.

The apartment was very nice. Well equipped and big. The TV remote from the living room TV was very worn out and din't work well. The house is located in a nice and quiet neighborhood. The parking is free. It's relatively fast to get to the city center by car .

The TV remote from the living room TV was worned out and din't work well. At first I thought the TV was broken but then I've realized that you have to press longer on the power button to turn it on. Getting to the house it's not easy. You had to go on some small side roads to get there. One road is blocked from car traffic which make it difficult to get to the house. We had to spend about 5 minutes driving to find another road that allowed us to get to the house.

I was travelling on a steamship along the Mittelands Canal which passes close to this apartment, and the ship tied up for the night about a mile away, so it suited me well. But there is a tram into Hannover city centre. You get a whole appartment including a kitchen and lounge so not bad for the money. It is in a very quiet street. If you want somewhere very quiet and lovely to eat with for Germany exceptional food in my opinion, particularly if you don't eat meat, try the Havn Bar and Restaurant further along the canal, attached to the Loftstyle Hotel, go up a path away from the canal towards the hotel then left along another path.

The key arrangment I personally found confusing and I had to knock on the owner's door to get in, but they live next door so not really an issue.
