Nothing sprcial

2nd floor without an elevator !!! Ws are 78 years old! Too close to the airport, the flat is not a worm one.

"Everything we needed."

Large appartment. Very clean. Really comfortable matresses. Balcony with power awning for shade from south sun. Easily found lockbox to access apartment on arrival. Host Josef visited a while after our arrival and made sure we had every thing we needed. Josef also spoke good english so communication wasn't an issue.

An issue that might annoy some guests is the proximity to the airport. With doors and windows closed the noise is NOT an issue but if windows open it is. This is not a major airport so the noise is not constant and is tolerable. Another minor issue is the parking. If future customers have a larger vehicle/ SUV parking is tight, but my thought is that this is an issue at most rentals in Germany.

"Cold"

The comfort of the apartment was very nice. Fireplace as well.

We stayed over in middle of March and it was cold outside, even colder inside. There was no heating. Fireplace was prepared, but no single lighter in the whole apartment. When I asked the owner for a heating, I was told that there is a floor heating system and it turns on automaticly, depends on the outside temperature. However, the floor was cold and the floor system never turned on. Also, they generously left 2 bottles of water and wrote down the price per bottle. Generously €2/bottle. With all the kichen appliances they are describeing, there was no coffee. So, if you want coffee, bring your own, 3-4 extra blankets and your own water- it's cheaper.
