This is a very special place in the countryside! The grounds are impeccably maintained. We loved relaxing on the lawn or chaises in our robes, or taking a swim or a sauna. The host family are kind and helpful. The six of us friends rented two two bedroom apartments for three nights. The arrangement worked well for us. The beds were comfortable. We were offered a fantastic gourmet breakfast at 24E per person. It is a splurge, esp. for those who eat lightly in the morning, but well worth it. We even cooked a meal one night. You can rent canoes, or bikes, both were enjoyable and recommended. We biked to Lubben and had a delicious German lunch at Restaurant & Café Hanschick. The next day we canoed to the Biergarten at the BootHaus (https://www.bootshaus-conrad.de/ )…. such fun! There are not many places to eat lunch or dinner that are close enough to walk.

We wished we had games or a deck of cards.

We planned this trip as a last-minute escape from Berlin for the weekend. Our expectations of having a simple, calm, and relaxing weekend were exceeded in every possible way. The hosts were extremely nice. They offered to pick us up from the train station because we couldn't find any taxis after our train was significantly delayed. They were always approachable and helpful, even sharing some eggs with us for breakfast :) The facility itself had everything we needed. The apartment was spotless, with a nice kitchen, so we cooked our meals. The wellness center was well-built, featuring two beautiful saunas and a nicely heated relaxing pool. We were provided with bikes, allowing us to take a pleasant trip to the nearest village, Burg. We were very satisfied with our trip and are planning to come back soon. 100% recommended.

Everything! this place is a dream the apartment has a full kitchen. The SPA is very nice. The perfect place for a relax weekend.

The only thing is that the kitchen could have some basic cooking essentials like sal and olive oil.
