Skagen Annex Apartment

Quiet place,

It was in Skagen

The first thing she does when we arrive is to charge us €10 per person for the towels and sheets. This was not mentioned in the description. The shower was shared with the toilet, so everything was wet all the time. The bed was not very comfortable. The mattress was not a real one, very thin. And the pillows were flat, as there were none.

The location is perfect for visiting the city, especially with bikes - we got them from the owner who was really nice for a good rental price. Our plan was to discover Skagen and the surrounding, so therefore the apartment was quite okay, especially as rental prices for holiday apartments and hotels in Skagen are rather high in our opinion. The flat is in a kind of garage. It consists of an entrance area with a fullly equipped kitchen, a very small bathroom and a bedroom with a dining table and two chairs plus TV. It was very clean and tidy. We stayed seven nights.

The photos doesn't really show the bathroom situation: it's an all-in-one toilet sink shower situation. There's no extra shower. The bed isn't really a double bed we'd say. It seemed to be smaller than our own (and our 140 cm bed does actually count as a single bed... ) To sum up: Tall guests might feel uncomfortable with the bathroom and the bedroom. For reference: our heights are 171 to 176 cm, slim figures 😉
