Beds & Breaks Desplat

Ruim appartement, goede locatie. Twee badkamers, beide met toilet. Airco's in woonkamer en grote slaapkamer. Verhuurder heeft z'n best gedaan om ons eerder dan gebruikelijk te laten inchecken ivm onze vroege aankomsttijd.

Geen airco in de twee overige slaapkamers, dat was echt een gemis. Er stonden wel ventilatoren, maar deze waren zeer luidruchtig.

Location was excellent Amenities were good

Air conditioning only in the lounge and main bedroom. The apartment was sweltering.

Great location, fully fitted apartment. Good size.

Not quite ready for the weather in December.

Clean spacious

Not much to like to be honest.

The worst accommodation and worried about my children there. Property smelt strongly of damp and urine & had l (dead) cockroaches. Only 1 usable bathroom. The second was extremely filthy & unhygienic & we rendered out of action!. There was mould and grime everywhere. The other bathroom was cleanish however there was a metal ladder towel rail not secured & my 8 year old pulled it down onto herself. There was only air conditioning in 1 bedroom (main) & the lounge so needed the fans however which were ineffective. The single bedroom window could not be opened as it opened directly under a shelter which was covered with mould & fungus. Meanwhile my wife & I both developed sore throats using the air conditioning unit in the bedroom. We are not sure they were properly fitted, certainly never been cleaned & safety checked. The electrics in the whole flat were terribly old and appeared unsafe. The kitchen was cleanish but again evidence of neglect. Zero water pressure so don’t try wash yr hair. We reported all this to owner, didn’t get much in the way of help. On our return we complained to Booking.com all we got was a weak apology but no money back.

The location close to the city center, with many good restaurants, is excellent.

The noise insulation from the other apartments in the building is poor.
