The landlord is very kind and gave us some useful tips about the neighborhood. The apartment is spotlessly clean and in a very central area.

Great location

The sofa bed was not so comfortable and would be good to have more mirrors outside of the bathroom.

The apartment was clean and large and the kitchen was stocked well enough to cook when we wanted to. Bonus, there was a clothes horse so we could hang our laundry. We were met by a friendly host and given a tour of the apartment and facilities.

The only thing that let the apartment down was the street noise. The front door is on a quiet alley, but the windows all overlook a busy road with buses that don't seem to sleep. I resorted to sleeping with earplugs, but even that only dampened the noise. If you are a heavy sleeper or not affected by noise, I don't think you could do much better than this location in the heart of the historic center.

Location was the only good thing about this property!

Host - was 20 minutes late despite confirming on time arrival multiple times. Host - seemed rushed and uninterested. Pointed to rooms only, did not explain apartment nor where the keys were u til he was asked. Host - took us into the wrong apartment!! Apartment was already occupied and a females personal belongings throughout. Had to highlight this to him before exiting the room. Was not apologetic. Couch filthy dirty, stains visible. Walls the same. Floors and skirting boards filled with dust. Shower mould/stained and water took extended time to drain away. Had to get in and out quick before overflowed. Bathroom did not feel clean. No useful welcome pack at all. Items there not worthwhile. Stairs have no railings for use , unsafe for any person. We had an elderly family member with us. Need keys to exit the building main door - unsafe in evacuation or emergency. Can get locked in. No Wifi was able to be found, nor noted in guide book. Junk left on edge of Juliet balcony.

Proximity to everything and the communication with those running the lease.

The noise from the apartment renovating next door and there was no lift to the door. Twenty odd steps up with no handrail was a bit daunting for an older couple. The chairs and table very unstable if you wanted to eat in

Shower needs a refurb , curtain was tatty and a lot of mouldy sealant .
