Good location, met on arrival by Susana very helpful lots of recommendations where to eat etc

We were welcomed at the apartment by the manager, Javier. He showed us around and was very friendly. He created a guide with info about the apartment and what to do in the area. The apartment is newly renovated but has kept some of the old architectural details. We loved have two full baths and a small kitchen. It’s located centrally in the old area of Cádiz. Everything is a short walk away. We enjoyed our stay there. Thank you.

Our host, Javier was very informative and helpful. We used the parking that he suggested which is the closest to the apartment (about 25 Euros per day - expensive but very convenient). He also sent us a list of recommendations regarding restaurant, etc.

Nothing really except that a few hooks in the bathrooms would be useful to hang towels.

If you like quiet, this may not be for you. We could clearly hear the neighbours talking, practicing music, but it didn’t bother us. We liked the atmosphere of it but it may not be to everyone’s taste.

The location was perfect, in the old town of Cadiz, close to all the main spots to visit. It was nice to walk around without using our car. The flat was very clean with all amenities (including washing machine, laundry drying rack, kitchenware, dishwasher, kettle, coffee machine, etc.). We were not missing anything. The air conditioning was strong and not too noisy. The flat was renovated and is part of an old historical building, which gives it a lot of charm. A big thank you to Susana for her friendly welcome and kind help during our check-in. She sent us nice recommendations of restaurants and was always helpful. The Genteel Home team has developed a very nice and useful website with a lot of guidance and recommendations (regarding the accommodation but also restaurants, etc.).

As the flat is located in the old town, in a lively area, it could be a bit noisy as the flat is located on the 1st floor. Beware that the building is located in a restricted area and you will not be able to drive there (even to drop off your luggage). We followed the recommendation of the host to park at the closed parking located only 300-400 m from the flat (25 euros per day), and it was super easy and fine for us (to walk with our luggage to the property building with our 2 young kids). Please beware also that although there is a lift in the building, our flat was located between two levels, so we had to anyway use the stairs.

We loved our stay in Cadiz. The apartment is very well stocked, and we really appreciated details like having washing up products and detergent for the washing machine, Nespresso pods and cooking equipment so that we could prep things there. Javier was great making us feel comfortable and making recommendations for Cadiz. I'd happily stay again.

If I had to think of something, the sofa bed was a bit squeaky, but comfortable!
