Aukera Apartment I by Basque Homes

We found the apartment to be very spacious, with the added convenience of easy parking. While the location was decent, the view from the balcony was of neighboring apartment buildings, which didn't offer much in terms of scenery. It's a bit of a walk to the old town—around 30 minutes if you're quick—so keep that in mind. The area had a predominantly local Spanish feel, which added to the authenticity of our stay. A plus was the parking being within a mall that also had a grocery store, making it easy to stock up on essentials. Prices for food and drinks in the immediate area were more affordable than those in the old city, although the old city certainly had better culinary options.

While the view from the balcony could have been better, and the walk to the old town was quite long, we actually enjoyed it as we love walking. However, for those who aren’t fond of long walks or have mobility issues, I’d recommend taking a taxi instead.

We liked the location, it was a nice 25min walk into the Old Town, really good bars around and a quiet neighbourhood. Flat was very comfy and roomy and we felt very happy with it.

Would have benefitted from black out blinds in the bedroom, it was very light in the lmorning.

Great location, just out of the main tourist hub, easy walk into town area along the river. Great size for 2 or 3 persons. Fantastic communication with Basque Homes.

Super friendly staff helped with our arrival, which was very late due to flight delays. Well equipped flat with everything you need. Really comfy bed, helped us rest well. Nice local area with everything you need, lots of information given by the host.

The apartment is not directly in the center, but well connected to it. Parking is provided, and everything was pretty much as described. Plenty of shopping opportunities and bars just outside the building.

The apartment is located on the top floor of the building and felt relatively warm already. I could imagine it getting really hot in summer. Having a fan would be nice. Also, a third chair at the dining table would be good (we used one of the two chairs from the balcony)
