Nice and clean apartment and the reception was good

Great location:10 minutes to the beach and center by foot, TRAM and BUS 1 minutes, biiig shoping center 1 minut. Quiet place.

Lock on the door was tricky, but with a little practice it was ok.

Appartement was quite big, has a good equipped kitchen, separated from the living/dining room. Location was close to nice hilly park with great views on the sea and the city, beach also on walking distance. Huge supermarket and shopping center around the corner. Hosts (both Helena and Norbert) are very kind and flexible. I loved to spend a week in this location and can recommend it.

The furniture is a bit outdated and might be replaced by newer and modern stuff. A good start however has already been made with the big new TV screen!

Overall, the problems we encountered were not enough to ruin an otherwise great holiday, but certainly merit a lengthy and unfavorable review.

1 Host Experience 1.1 Our host, Elena, was far from accommodating. A day before our arrival, she pressed on knowing our check-in time, despite the booking stating a check-in between 14:00 and 00:00. 1.2 On the day of check-in, she demanded that we arrive no later than 16:30, as she would be unavailable until 22:00 (due to her personal schedule and desire to play volleyball at the beach). 1.3 We managed to arrive by the time she requested, only to find out she wasn't ready to give us the key, despite her living only 10 minutes away and despite us texting her several times to confirm we were arriving at the requested time. She arrived half an hour later than us. She didn't even apologize, just thanked us for being on time. 2 Air Conditioning 2.1 The apartment has only one functioning air conditioning unit, which proved inadequate for cooling down the entire place, especially the bedrooms. 2.2 The air conditioning condensation water is collected in a large plastic bottle, which requires emptying every 5 hours or so (see pictures). 2.3 If the bottle is not emptied, the AC will start leaking water inside the apartment, leading to flooding. To counter this issue, we had to improvise a solution using a tablecloth and basin (see picture). This meant you will have to return to the apartment frequently. 3 Number of Beds 3.1 The number of beds specified in the booking is 3. We found only 2 beds were made. The host told us the third sofa bed was not to be used. She also texted me trying to gaslight me about it, stating that on booking is specified for only 2 beds, which is factually false. 3.2 The two double-sized beds were small and uncomfortable for two people (see picture). 4 Minor Issues The apartment itself felt quite old, and the shower was partially broken, easily slipping out of place. Also, the neighbors are noisy. Finding parking near the house was difficult. 200€ as the deposit is a lot.

Norbert meet us at almost 04:00 to hand over the keys as our flight was delayed. He kept checking on us and made us feel welcome since the first second. He carried our bags for us and was extremely helpful. The apartment is just as you can see it on the pictures, you are just 2min walk from the Alcampo mall and you can take the TRAM just from 3min of the apartment. There are 2 A/C units and they really make the apartment nice and cold on no time. There is a washing machine available and that helped a lot when travelling with kids. Elena, the lady that picked up the keys on departure was also extremely helpful. I highly recommend the apartment for anyone looking for a great place to stay and not spending ridiculous amounts of money.

There was only 1 toilet roll left for 4 of us for 5 nights, I would expect a bit more for the size of our group and the number of nights we were staying.
