Apartment Marbella House

The property was very well furnished with comfortable chairs and sofas. The kitchen was also very well equipped with oven, pod coffee machine, air fryer and lots of pans, crockery, glasses and cutlery z. The beds were comfortable and it was very useful having two bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms. The garden was a pleasant place to relax and enjoy the sun, with a large table and chairs, together with extra loungers

The access to the third bedroom is not particularly safe as there is no handrail to the open staircase

The location and the complex are fabulous. We stayed at first in #55 (which was not the best) and then extended our stay to a penthouse apartment in the same complex - that was terrific and completely different from the first - everything was new, clean, matching and the bonus was a rooftop private pool. The complex is very close to a supermarket that we used every day and also close to the beachside restaurants and just a short walk to the fabulous Old Town. They have an underground gym fully equipped and a swimming pool, all nicely taken care of.

Perhaps it was a language problem, but the communication with the host could have been better for both places (same host). We had just come from the Vivaldi Suites where the property and hosts were top notch, kind, welcoming and responsive, so it was a bit jarring to feel so undervalued at this property. In #55 we felt that it lacked care - right down to the one and only sharp knife, which was huge and had a broken tip. The penthouse property was 100 times better and the standard that we expect, although the communication remained curt to say the least. Be prepared for lots of stairs in both stays.

Location

Bathrooms very old and therefor dirty. Very low on crockery etc in the kitchen. No closepins to hang the wash outside.

Very comfy and spacious duplex, and location is great, beach is just across the street, old town a short walk away.
