Problema con la televisión, el aire acondicionado y el agua caliente.

Located in a building with awful smell…

Definitely the worst place I’ve ever reserved from booking.com. The first disappointment came when we first entered the building and got the unpleasent smell. Although we arrived at 15:00 the room was not ready. The lady assisting us with the check-in lacked even basic English and her body language indicated that she was rushing to leave the flat as soon as possible. The photos and the reality could not be more different. Although I tipped the housekeeper, we could not get a proper cleaning. Dirty walls, cheap furniture… The shower did not even have a tiny shelf to place your soap or shampoo. The most disgusting part was the unbearable smell coming from the sewage system in the bathroom; it was March and I cannot imagine how would it be during peak summer heat. A place I wouldn’t stay again even if it were offered for free…

Oda karanlık, pencereler apartman boşluğuna açılıyor. Yerdeki halı çok kirliydi. İlk gün termosifon kapalıydı termosifon ısınması saatler sürdü. İlk gün duş alamadık. Sıcak su ısıtma kapasitesi düşük sıcak su az akıyor. Müşteri hizmetlerine sadece whatsapp üzerinden ve gecikmeli yanıt alabiliyorsunuz. Mesela pencereler kilitlenmiyordu teknik destek çok geç geldi. Elektronik giriş çalışmadı, yedek anahtarla giriş çıkış yapabildik. Komşular çok saygısız sabah saat 5'te yüksek sesle müzik gürültüsü vardı. 2 küçük çocuğumla mağdur olduk.

No es nada como en las imágenes, me quedé sorprendida e impactada al entrar porque no se corresponde para nada, es súper pequeño y el sofá bastante pequeño e incómodo

I loved absolutely everything about this apartment, from the host, Mario, being very friendly, to the little welcome bags you’ll receive at the check-in. Everything is spotless, everything works perfectly and the host messages you to check if you need anything - a fantastic touch. Really enjoyed my stay and last but not least, the position is perfect: 5 minutes walk from the Royal Palace and the Almudena Cathedral, 2 from the metro station (Plaza de España) and about 30 from the Prado museum/Retiro park - buses and metro will also take you there in a heartbeat but Madrid is so beautiful that walking everywhere comes natural - 7 minutes away from the Debod temple (go there at sunset, the view, the music played by the street artista, the atmosphere, everything is dreamy). Fantastic apartment, amazing hosts, magnificent city. Thank you guys, you did a great job!
