Ático céntrico

A large apartment right in the heart of the historic centre of beautiful Antequera. Very cosy in the cold,wet weather we encountered. Heaters and blankets were available. Plenty of towels, bedding etc. The apartment was well stocked with all the things we needed to make us comfortable during our stay. It was extremely quiet at night and very comfortable. We highly recommend a stay here and will return. It was great to have a washing machine and was close to cafes, restaurants and supermarkets.

As per previous reviews, some of the furnishings were ‘strange’ and not quite to our liking but it did not detract from our stay.

Good location in the city centre. Elevator if needed. Good restaurants and grocery shops in the neighborhood. Appartment was clean (barring the smelly bathrooms). Spacious appartment with airconditioning (including heating for winter).

-Communication was not very easy. Host only speaks spanish, so had to use DeepL and google translate to communicate. -Both bathrooms were really smelly upon arrival. After letting some water run through sink and shower and airing them out for a full day, the smell was finally gone. This could have been easily prevented. -2 pans and 2 pots were provided. Both pans are non-stick pans. This non-stick coating was badly scratched. This is not healthy as the coating ends up in the food. Had to wash all pots and pans as well before use. Pans had a greasy film. -Wifi code: we found it on a post it in a cupboard with the router, but the name of the netwerk was not. Had to try 4 other networks to find the right one. -Host was sparse with info. You have to ask for every bit of info: how to get the keys to the appartment, where to park (booking lists parking as available, but this means going to a city parking lot a while away (we found a spot about 800m from the appartment)). Most hosts provide this info up front. -Dead batteries in tv-remote. -More than one towel for each person would be nice for a stay of 9 days. -Both kitchen knifes were to dull to cut a tomato. Even after sharpening. -Just one small trash bucket provided, with one trashbag for a 9day stay. This was not enough. No idea where to leave the trash either. So in all: not a bad appartment, but the host could easily put one page of basic info (where to park, wifi name and code, where to leave trash, ...) on the table. Some attention to other points (frying pans, dead batteries, smell,...) would be nice as well. This would solve most downsides in a jiff.

The availability of the fridge, microwave and the central location

The hilliness of the area and the fact that one could hear the movements from the other apartments.

Great location in the middle of Antequera and close to many good restaurants.

TV was tiny and kitchen had limited equipment. Should have booked parking as it was difficult to get parking close enough and had to pay for it in the end. Didn't realise we had to book it.

The location is perfect. So close to the centre. The laundry facilities were handy especially when staying for longer.

The mounted taxidermy was a bit much. Also, some of the furniture was random, like a very tall dining table in the centre of the Lounge in front of the sofa where a coffee table would be more Suitable.

The location is great. The kitchen and bathroom were fully equipped.

It is a poorly designed appartement with built-in heating in only one room so we were very cold.

Looks like lovely town to visit, unfortunately I did not have time to visit/explore as arrived in the early evening and left the next morning. The accommodation was reasonable, however some of the supplied bedding did not give confidence that it was clean. I would suggest using white linen in future rather than multicoloured almost towel fabric. Otherwise a comfortable night. Electricity tripped but owner responded quickly and resolved.

We were on bicycles and were charged 7 Euros for storing them in underground parking basement. It may have been a requirement. We'd not come across this before on our trip.

Very, very clean. good location for visit of Antequera. Goed kitchen, shower and bed. Nice heating under the table in the livingroom.
